Temple City: Return of the Red Car?![]() Click to ACT NOW!
Temple City is looking to add a new fixed-route localized transit system that is more ideal for reaching smaller streets, neighborhoods, and major destinations. Currently, the city’s public transportation program is limited to Dial-A-Ride (DAR) for seniors and residents with limited mobility; and discounted bus pass sales. Metro and Foothill Transit provide regional bus services within Temple City limits, but stops are limited to major arterials.
All members of the public are strongly encouraged to submit comments and ideas that will shape the routes, stops, amenities, and overall design that ties in to a more a sustainable and vibrant Temple City. We at BikeSGV feel that major transit stops or hubs should be well equipped with bicycle amenities such as basic repair stations, safe and visible bicycle parking, and bike racks on buses, adequate way finding signage, and bike sharing programs to name a few. We implore you to provide input by completing a short online survey: ENGLISH SPANISH CHINESE |
