Vincent Chang, PresidentMonterey Park resident Vincent Chang started BikeSGV as a Facebook page in 2009. The proud owner of a pedicab and several bicycles, Vince rediscovered his passion for bicycling after his doctor informed him he had to get more exercise or his future health would be at risk. An immigration lawyer by trade, Vincent is actively involved in the City of Monterey Park, serving as the President of the local Chamber of Commerce and a Commissioner on the City's Environmental Commission.

Efren Moreno, Vice-PresidentAlhambra resident and former City Council Member Efren Moreno is an avid cyclist. In addition to helping found BikeSGV, Efren has served on the boards of a number of different LA-area bicycle groups, including Multicultural Communities for Mobility (MCM), the LA County Bicycle Coalition, and CICLE. Professionally Efren is a Senior Site Auditor for SolarCity where he designs residential PV systems and is a certified energy efficiency rater.

Wesley Reutimann, SecretaryPasadena resident Wesley Reutimann is an SGV native and former mountain/road bike racer turned bike advocate. A graduate of San Marino High School, Williams College (MA), and the University of Basel (Switzerland), Wesley has been fortunate to tour both coasts and much of western Europe on bicycles of different varieties, including velomobiles! Professionally Wesley has a decade of experience in the non-profit and education sector, and currently serves as Director of Environmental Prevention for Day One, a Pasadena-based public health advocacy and youth development non-profit. In his free time he also can be found volunteering on the Boards of the Downtown Pasadena Neighborhood Association and Pasadena Athletic Association, biking the San Gabriel Mountains, and herding his two rescue cats.

Melissa Preciado-Hernandez, TreasurerMelissa Preciado-Hernandez is a Research Associate for Southern California Kaiser Permanente Department of Research and Evaluation. Melissa supports numerous studies in the field of cancer, diabetes, obesity and infectious diseases. Currently, she sits on the community review panel for the Office of AIDS Programs and Policy, LA County Department of Public Health. She has worked nationally and internationally with non-governmental organization to implement public health programs for under served communities. Melissa is committed to decreasing the health disparities among under served populations. She is an avid runner and you can find her strolling down the streets on her bike with her husband on weekend dates.

Javier Hernandez, Program DirectorA life-long resident of the San Gabriel Valley and Cal State Fullerton graduate, Javier is strong advocate for improving health inequities among disenfranchised populations. He has a passion for sharing the rewards of a bicycle lifestyle with residents of the San Gabriel valley. Professionally, most of Javier's career has been focused in community health education, promotion and advocacy. He has a decade of experience in the non-profit sector working with at-risk-youth for organizations such as the YMCA, Choices Camp and the California Center for Public Health Advocacy. Examples of prior projects include the planning and development of bicycle-friendly development projects and neighborhoods for both commuter and recreational riders. During his free time you will find Javier sneaking into the local San Gabriel Mountains for thrilling bike rides with friends.
